The NZ Transport Agency has recently launched a tender process to identify and purchase a National Incident and Event Management System (NIEMS), along with the required implementation and support services, for the Transport Operating Centres (TOCs) throughout New Zealand.
The Transport Agency is seeking a single, national system which will help standardise practices and data quality across the TOCs. This will enable consistent customer information, effective responses to network events and eventually analytics to create standard operating procedures.
The Transport Agency welcomes proposals from international suppliers. The tender process closes 13 May 2016 and briefing information will be available during April. To find out more about the requirements and tender process click here.
