The European project COREALIS (Capacity with a pOsitive enviRonmEntal and societAL footprInt: portS in the future era) has launched a questionnaire to collect feedback about the logistics activities of all kinds port actors. The survey is aimed at stakeholders such as policymakers, traffic and infrastructure managers, freight, shipping and logistics operators, ICT service providers and port authorities – all of whom interact with ports on a regular basis.
This data collected by this questionnaire will be processed and used to produce a conclusive report that sets a ‘priority’ and defines an implementation roadmap for the PoF (Port of the Future) innovations, defined in the COREALIS project.
COREALIS proposes a strategic, innovative framework, supported by disruptive technologies, including Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, next generation traffic management and emerging 5G networks, for cargo ports to handle upcoming and future capacity, traffic, efficiency and environmental challenges. The proposed beyond state of the art innovations, target to increase efficiency and optimise land use, while being financially viable, respecting circular economy principles and being of service to the urban environment.
