The city of Södertälje has launched into operation an electric-hybrid bus that is able to recharge wirelessly – the first of its kind in Scandinavia.
Operating on the city’s no. 755 route, the new bus recharges at a charging station located on the last stop of the route.
With 200 kW of power, the station can charge the batteries in 7 minutes with enough energy to serve the entire 10km route.
