ERTICO’s Fenix project will be present at the International Transport Innovation Forum taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania, on 20-21 October. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Lithuania and the Transport Innovation Association has organised the two-day forum around four main pillars: breakthrough innovations, green course, digital transformation and innovation policy.
Industry experts, business leaders, start-ups, public sector representatives and policymakers will address the future of the transport systems at this international event. Transport and logistics stakeholders will share their vision and discuss the latest technological solutions and regulatory issues that will become an essential condition for a competitive business of the future transport system in Europe and beyond. The spotlight will also turn to EU investments and strategic plans as presented by representatives of state institutions and international organizations.
Dr Eusebiu Catana, Senior Manager at ERTICO, will present the Fenix project during a session titled “Digital transformation in transport logistics chains. How much we are ready in the Baltic region?” His presentation will focus on the trends that will affect the transport and logistics sector in the next thirty years by sharing the main goals and expected outcome of the Fenix project. Moreover, the forum will give the opportunity to increase the share of interested stakeholders and to receive feedback and new inputs to further develop the project.
Dr Johanna Tzanidaki, Chief Innovation Officer at ERTICO, will present ERTICO Innovation Roadmaps on the second day of the event in a session introduced by Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of the Economy and Innovations of the Republic of Lithuania. The same session will host Ricardo Munoz Nunez, Transportation Lead EMEA at Google Cloud, which recently joined ERTICO as a new partner.
