At the ITS European Congress in Eindhoven in June 2019, ERTICO unveiled the first step in its new marketing and branding strategy with the introduction of a new logo. Since the launch of this new visual identity, a vacillating coloured star, ERTICO continues to reflect the innovation that lies at the heart of this public-private partnership with the marketing tools that it develops. At the ITS Virtual Congress on 9-10 December, ERTICO’s Partnership and Communications team for the very first time proudly presented a new corporate film ‘This is ERTICO’.

‘ERTICO’s marketing strategy reflects its DNA, which is firmly set on creating an efficient, sustainable and safe world for European citizens and bringing together 120 Partners from sectors that include service providers, suppliers, traffic and transport industry, research, public authorities, user organisations, mobile network operators, and vehicle manufacturers. Given the current health crisis it is so important that we work together through this difficult time to ensure we deliver on our 2030 Vision. The new corporate film also reflects ERTICO’s marketing slogans: ‘Innovation for tomorrow’s journey’ and ‘Together for tomorrow’s journey’ – these represent the way that we at ERTICO are thinking forward about mobility, but also that we traverse this journey together with our Partners. We continue to produce dynamic material that supports ERTICO’s visual identity, for example our yearly review of activities constantly delivers on this branding, ’ said Irina Patrascu-Grant Director of ERTICO Partnership and Communications.

The ‘What is ERTICO?’ film presents ERTICO’s range of activities including those related to Mobility as a Service, the City Moonshot, the Academy and the Start-Up Initiative as well as the 20+ EU funded projects that ERTICO is coordinating and currently working on.

‘The concept behind the film was to present a very strong human focus – after all ERTICO’s work is about ensuring the delivery of robust, efficient, sustainable, safe and secure mobility services for users. Throughout the film we also have strongly carried through the colours, strong imagery that is reflected in the ERTICO visual identity. It was a pleasure to work with the design company Landmarks that supported us through the preparation process,’ says Cordelia Wilson, Manager for Marketing and Partnership.
