Dr Olga Landolfi of TTS Italia spoke at a prestigious ITS Australia event at the RACV City Club in Melbourne during May. TTS Italia, ITS Australia and the Network are all very pleased with this appearance of a Network representative in the programme of an ITS Australia event and all three ITS organisations welcomed this initiative. Dr Landolfi’s presentation on current ITS deployment in Europe, and the legal and regulatory work being undertaken under the European Commission’s ITS Action Plan and Directive, was received with great interest by the mainly Australian audience.
Many Network Members are also actively involved in promoting the 2016 ITS World Congress which will take place in Melbourne, through ITS Australia’s “Melbourne Ambassadors” scheme.
