Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) will be demonstrating its latest innovations in live, virtual and constructive training technologies at the 2013 Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC), Dec. 2-5 in Orlando, Fla. I/ITSEC is the world’s largest modeling, simulation and training conference.

“Cubic is focusing its innovation and resources onto the complexities of delivering training solutions that are more affordable and more effective,” said Dave Schmitz, president of Cubic Defense Systems. “For some time now, we have been listening to our customers and assessing their evolving needs, and we are excited to unveil new solutions to the affordability and effectiveness challenges. We look forward to sharing these at I/ITSEC and hope to engage with you on the vision for the future of training.”

Cubic will give live demonstrations based on new technologies out of its Cubic Advanced Learning Solutions (CALS) business segment. This first of its kind, game-based courseware incorporates an immersive synthetic environment with “on-the-job” training from an avatar-mentor. This avatar-mentor not only leads and instructs the trainee but also facilitates and guides the self-paced nature of the training.

Cubic will also showcase and demo the Small Arms Virtual Trainer system, simulated weapons and services. The Small Arms Virtual Trainer provides a highly realistic, cost effective, training solution to enhance warrior combat readiness and marksmanship proficiency.

Attendees may view these newest innovations at the Cubic exhibit, located in the Orange County Convention Center, Booth #2448. For more information please visit www.cubic.com.
