The new night public transport network of Zurich consists of railway lines (S-Bahn) and buses
The regional public transport authority of the Zurich Canton (ZVV) inaugurated a new night public transport service last December. The new network consists of 4 railway lines (S-Bahn) and 32 bus lines, and serves 80% of the municipalities of the Zurich Canton, which has a total of 1.2 million inhabitants. The system operates Friday and Saturday nights and passengers need a 5 CHF (3.4 euros) ticket.
