Following the very successful conference in 2010 ITS Ireland is pleased to announce that the ITS Ireland 2011 conference will be held on Friday 7 October preceded by a dinner on Thursday
6 October in the Galway Bay Hotel Salthill Co. Galway where a wide range of topics relevant to the use of ITS will be covered.
The theme for this year’s conference is “ITS Innovation in Action” whereby the innovative role of ITS in delivering sustainable efficient and safe mobility will be examined. Innovation lies in delivering new technologies and also arises from innovative integration and deployment of existing technologies.
Delegates that attend the conference will be drawn from a wide range of ITS disciplines and include representatives from Government authorities local authorities consultancies academics operators service providers and manufacturers.
Invitation to Submit Presentations
ITS Ireland invites interested parties to submit an abstract of their intended presentation email addresses and telephone numbers of the author(s) to info@itsireland.ie no later than Friday 25 March 2011. Further information can be found here. Abstracts should be limited to half an A4 page and will be considered by the ITS Ireland Programme Committee on the basis of the originality of the work the content the supporting evidence and the anticipated level of interest from delegates and will seek additional information from the presenter(s) as necessary.
