The new Smart Mobility City Award, to be presented at the China International New Energy Vehicle Show (CINEV) 2015, will acknowledge European and Chinese cities for their commitments and achievements in ecomobility.
The award aims to encourage the development of ecomobility practices through a motivational approach. Instead of a competition between cities, the organisers are advocating the award as a way to promote positive initiatives, exchange ideas and showcase contributors to the ecomobility movement.

The awards will cover 10 categories, with one European and one Chinese city awarded for each. A panel of international experts will sit on the jury.

CINEV 2015 will gather European and Asian eco-mobility stakeholders under the theme of ‘Smart mobility in Smart cities’. It will be held in Hong Kong from 25 – 27 November.

Topics that will be covered include: clean technologies for green mobility such as electric, hybrid, and hydrogen; cars, public transportation, and services linked to mobility; and linking partners within the value chain including industry, public authorities, education & research professionals, and investors.

Applications for the Smart Mobile City Award are open until 1 August 2015.
