ITS Japan delegation pays visits to ERTICO on 7th April 2017

The delegation from ITS Japan, led by the president of ITS Japan, Mr. Hajime Amano, visited ERTICO’s premises on 7^th April 2017.

ITS Japan and ERTICO exchanged information on their current activities and discussed future cooperation. Mr Amano gave a presentation on current main topics of technical developments in ITS Japan including their research into using various ITS technologies to support Active Ageing. Mr Jacob Bangsgaard, CEO of ERTICO and president of MaaS Alliance, presented ERTICO’s programmes, platforms and projects of ERTICO and activities of MaaS Alliance. ERTICO’s work in vehicle automation, dynamic maps, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communication, was also presented. ITS Japan and ERTICO agreed that the cooperation between the two organisations is very beneficial. Further cooperation on selected topics have been planned. ERTICO’s partners, Continental and DLR, were presented at the meeting.
