P4ITS will be presented at a workshop organised by DG CONNECT on “How to modernize transport services through a smart combination of Innovation Procurement and ICT“.

The work shop will be held on Tuesday 13 October 2015, 14:30-17:00 CET, at the European Commission, Centre Borschette, Room 0A.

The purposes of the workshop  are:

  1. to inform key procurers in cities and regions interested in procuring innovatively about best practices and successful PCP/PPI on ICT in transport;
  2. to inform regional stakeholders about the possibilities to use ESIF and H2020 budget for the modernization of public services on transport;
  3. to raise awareness about the possibilities to achieve this in a cost effective, efficient and sustainable way by implementing Innovation Procurements instead of buying off the shelf products/services that may or may not tackle their challenges.
