All the presentations from the second European Sustainable Urban Mobility PLans (SUMP) Conference, which took place from 16 – 17 June in Bucharest (Romania) are now online.

The presentations are grouped in four sets – plenary sessions, cities sessions, people sessions, and planning techniques – and presentations can be downloaded individually or together as a .zip file.

The presentations from the plenary sessions include all of the keynote speeches given in the main plenary over the two days of the conference. The other presentations are from three broad thematic categories.
The ‘all cities’ presentations include governance measures that can enhance cross-boundary planning and measure implementation, adapting the SUMP planning process for cities with limited resources, and implementation planning and the potential of land value capture as a local finance tool.
The ‘all people’ presentations look at the concept of ‘mobility poverty’, investing more effort in involving hard to reach groups, and the needs of passengers 25 years in the future. The presentations on planning techniques explore establishing a baseline for data collection, understanding best practice in transport modelling, and exploring approaches for quantifying energy consumption in transport.
