The EVIDENCE project has undertaken a wideranging review of the economic benefits of investing in sustainable urban mobility.
The review clearly demonstrate that sustainable urban mobility interventions and investments, for example, supporting higher levels of cycling and public transport, are as effective as ‘traditional’ infrastructure projects, which are typically adding new road capacity in or around cities.
