From 10 to 13 April, ERTICO and a group of Partners will be visiting the People’s Republic of China to exchange ideas and knowledge about the latest developments of Intelligent Transport Systems in China and Europe.

During this four-day visit, key representatives from the Chinese and European mobility sector will participate in technical visits to meet the country’s leading companies in ITS, gain a deeper insight on the latest technologies and developments of the Chinese ITS industry, and investigate business opportunities.

Meetings will be held in Beijing and Shanghai, discussing about the development of traffic control technology in China, autonomous vehicle technology laws and regulations, the national car-sharing business mode and much more.

“As the society and technologies around us evolve, we need to re-think the way we work; we need to embrace a global approach, opening the doors to our colleagues from other continents. We are looking forward to meet our colleagues from the Chinese ITS industry and create another opportunity for advancements in the mobility industry”, said Jacob Bangsgaard, CEO of ERTICO.

Here is a list of ERTICO Partners who will take part in the visit: AKKA Technologies, City of Copenhagen, Continental, CTAG, DEKRA, Ford Otosan, the Polish General Directorate for National Roads and Highways, the Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, the Slovenian Ministry of Infrastructure, Renault, SWARCO, Technolution and Volvo Group.
